Sample Policy
Sample Purchase and Collection
Samples are available for purchase and collection at Peritus Brands’ Jainsala Road office, A.N. House.
Sample Readiness Timeline
Samples ordered directly from the office will be ready within 7–10 days
Sample Returns and Refunds
- Returned samples must be in their original condition to qualify for a refund.
- A refund will only be processed after a thorough inspection, which may take up to 7 days.
- Damaged samples or those not fit for resale will not be accepted.
- The original invoice must accompany all returned samples.
Sample Orders via Email
- Send sample orders to info@peritusbrands.co.ke.
- Samples ordered via email will be ready for collection within 72 hours.
- Orders must be paid for and collected within 5 working days of the invoice date, or they will be reissued or canceled.
Branding Policy
Acceptable File Formats
- Supported: .CDR, .EPS, .AI, .PDF, .SVG (Vector artwork preferred).
- Not Accepted: Word files, .gif, .jpeg (under 600 dpi), PowerPoint, or .png.
Artwork Preparation Guidelines
- Convert all fonts to curves to avoid font substitutions.
- Include font and size details for any typesetting requests.
- For multi-color imprints, provide color-separated files (exceptions: digital printing).
- Email electronic artwork directly to info@peritusbrands.co.ke.
Approval Processs
- Written approval of layouts must be confirmed with Peritus Brands before production begins.
- Branding will only commence after payment and artwork approval are received.
- Payment made via cheque will require clearance before any work begins.
Artwork Fees
- No fees will apply to correctly formatted artwork.
- Redrawing fees vary depending on complexity and include two layout revisions. Additional revisions will incur a 5% fee.
- Branding canceled after artwork approval incurs a 30% invoice fee.
Orders and Stock Policy
Post-Collection Responsibility
- Peritus Brands is not liable for damages or shortages not reported within 24 hours of collection/delivery.
External Branding Precautions
- Check all items before taking them to an external branding company. Peritus Brands will not accept returns of incorrectly branded items, even if the fault lies with Peritus Brands.
Returns
- Returned items must pass an inspection, which may take up to 7 days, before a refund is issued.
- Items that are discontinued, on clearance, or require assembly are non-returnable.
Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA)
- ETA dates are subject to supplier, shipping, or customs delays and cannot be guaranteed.
Payment Policy
Payment Methods
- Payments can be made via EFT, direct deposit, or Paybill Number.
- Payments from outside Kenya may take 4–7 working days to clear.
Proof of Payment
- Proof of payment must be sent to biz@peritusbrands.co.ke.
- Orders and branding will not commence without confirmation of payment.
Courier and Delivery Policy
Courier Collection
- Couriers should only collect orders after receiving an email confirming readiness.
- Couriers must present the relevant invoice numbers during collection.
- Orders will not be released until payment is confirmed.

Delivery Timelines
- Deliveries require 24 hours from dispatch to reach the branch (excluding weekends).
- For guaranteed delivery dates, arrange for direct collection from Peritus Brands’ Jainsala Road office.
Cancellation Policy
Order Cancellations
- Orders canceled after approval will incur a 30% handling and admin fee.
- Orders must be paid for within 5 working days of the invoice date, or they will be reissued or canceled with applicable fees.
Branding Cancellations
- Branding will not commence without a 70% deposit for cash-on-delivery clients, with the balance due upon collection.
- Canceled branding orders with approved artwork will incur a 30% layout fee of the invoice value.
Non-Cancelable Orders
- Once final artwork approval is received, account customers cannot cancel their orders.
- Collected orders are not eligible for return without written approval from management within 72 hours. Approved returns will incur a 30% handling fee.
Important Notices
Delays
- In case of delays, clients will be notified via email or phone.
Collection Notification
- Do not attempt to collect orders until an email confirmation is received.
Health Regulation Compliance
- Essential products cannot be returned or exchanged due to public health regulations.
